Mapping a Network Drive (PC)
In order to share your work with the webmaster for the ICA website you will need to map a network drive where you store your files. Mapping a drive is essentially a shortcut to a school server where the files are located. Mapping is done by assigning a drive letter on your local machine to the school server.
Note: You will only be able to access these files on the server while you are at the school.
Access Windows Explorer by right clicking on the start menu > Explore

In your explorer window, choose Tools > Map Network Drive.

Select Drive: W in the Folder window.
Browse Folder: Ica-info > Ica-server5 > Web
or type (or cut and paste) \\Ica-server5\Web
Check the box labeled Reconnect at logon. Ask the webmaster to create a folder with your name, e.g., efine on the Ica-server5\Web\studentlife if one does not already exist. The webmaster will create a folder for images and documents for you. e.g.,
Ica-server5\Web\studentlife\efine\docs
Ica-server5\Web\studentlife\efine\images
