CRITERIA
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Spartan at ICA. Along with the desire to receive a Catholic Education, Admission to ICA is based upon the following criteria:
- Must be 14 years old by September 1, 2012
- Must have a Social Security Card
- 7th and 8th grade academic performance
- High School Placement Test scores
- Academic and personal recommendations from teachers/principals
- Satisfactory conduct, effort and attendance
- Admissions interview
- Desire to participate in the Corporate Work Study Program
- Adjusted Household income must meet ICA financial eligibility criteria
- Must complete a TADS application in English or in Spanish
APPLICATION PROCESS
To begin the admissions process:
- Download our application
- Complete application and please enclose the following documents when submitting your application:
a. Student essay (topic is stated on back of application)
b. Parent Essay
c. Report cards (two most recent years)
d. $25.00 Application Fee or a completed Fee Waiver form,
e. Copy of Birth Certificate – applicants must be 14 years old by Sept. 1, 2012
f. Copy of Social Security card
g. Baptism, Communion, Confirmation (not mandatory for admissions)
h. Copy of your most Current Federal taxes and W2 - Schedule a family interview (and tour, if needed) by calling Mrs. Gina Espinal-Aguerre, ICA’s Admissions Office at 415.824.2052 ext. 13
- Complete and submit a TADS Financial Aid form. It is required for all prospective families regardless of need. Additional Financial aid, made available to families is determined by this application.
- Take the High School Placement test (This test is given by all diocesan high schools. ICA will accept test scores for a student if the test was taken at another high school)
