ICA requirement: As scheduled for eligible students

Academic Support Class
Two Semesters, 9 & 10
Ninth and tenth-grade students who are identified at admission as needing additional academic support are scheduled into a 7th-period class that provides additional instruction in both language arts and mathematics. Students review basic skills in both areas and work on reading and other assignments from their six academic classes. Students will practice organizational and note-taking skills and receive direct instruction in study skills. The class is team-taught by a math teacher and an English-World Language teacher.
