Immaculate Conception Academy’s Corporate Work Study Program seeks full-time, entry-level clerical positions for its students. Our students are trained to perform clerical tasks such as filing, copying, faxing, delivering interoffice mail, assembling information packets, basic data entry, reception, and general administrative duties.

ICA’s CWSP employs student workers at corporate offices in the Bay Area. Sponsor companies contract with ICA’s Corporate Work Study Program for full-time, entry level positions. A team of four students shares one job. Academic schedules are structured so that students never miss class. Students rotate their schedules, each working five full days every four weeks, as shown in the table below.

Students are employees of the ICA Corporate Work Study Program. The program handles all matters regarding each student’s employment, including training, payroll and employment documents.

Student work is available during the school year, starting in late August and ending in early June. At job sites, students work standard business hours, beginning the day between 8:30 - 9:00am and ending between 4:30 – 5:00pm. The students are transported to and from the job site by public transportation or vans. Students are dressed in professional attire which is checked by the CWSP staff before they depart for work.

The sponsors pay a flat fee of $29,000 per year, or $2,900 per month (billed August – May), directly to the ICA Corporate Work Study Program for each full-time position. The money earned goes to offset a significant portion of each student’s cost of education, enabling the school to lower its tuition significantly.

For companies whose business cannot support a full team, partial teams of one, two, or three students are available at a pro-rated rate.
