Science Teachers Course Descriptions Student Work Learning in Action

The science program at ICA provides young women with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive as scientists, engineers, physicians and scientifically literate citizens. We use well-crafted laboratory investigations as our primary means of learning, asking students to discover and prove the rules that govern the natural world. Students are challenged to solve problems, both mathematical and conceptual, as much as they are encouraged to be curious about the science of everyday life.
