Church & Sacraments in the 20th Century | St. Catherine of Sienna Rap

St. Catherine of Sienna (A Dominican Saints Rap)
written by 2 seniors

Born in Sienna
Died in Rome,
Italy the home, like what do you know?
Last name was WHAAAT? Benincasa?
Well, what do you know. Bienvenidos a mi casa!

She’s seen visions
Since maybe she’s a baby
Well, what can I say
Holy in all that tyranny
Seven years old
People all up in her home
Gave her virginity
To one in the trinity

Tended the sick
Served the poor
Suffering, terrible, physical pain
Nothing could undo the bonds that she’d made
Mystical, physical, emotional and spiritual
This girl had it all
Kept the people in awe
With respect and reverence
To the Lord God in all

“You down with G.O.D. ?
Yeah you know me!
You down with G.O. D.?
Yeah you know me!
Divine mysteries and mystical death
Girl knew it all,
Said it all in her breath
Crusader, fighter, political advocator
Peace in the Italy, please let it be.

1375 received the stigmata
No marks on her body to show what’s the matta’?
Canonized saint, 1461
Pope Pius the 2nd
Wrapped her heart up like a bun
30th of April, her Holy feast day
Well, what more can we say?
Only that the works of St. Catherine are still known today
The “Dialogue” is all about the eternal human soul
And what she thought would make it all whole.
