The philosophy of the Home Economics Department is to instill in the student academic and vocational excellence. Our aim is to encourage the student toward expressing her creativity in her individual projects; thus, aiding the student to develop responsible decision making and encouraging the formulation of personal values. With this in mind the Home Economics Department seeks to provide a variety of experiences both in the classroom and within the community. We hope these experiences will develop the students' awareness of herself as a viable, informed and competent member of society.
