Health/Physical Education is a two-semester course.
The course is designed to promote the student's understanding of theories, terms and concepts related to physical, social and mental health. The course provides health information in such a way that it influences the student to change her attitudes, take personal responsibility, and make wise decisions and choices regarding her own health. In addition, the course enables each student to learn the skills and rules necessary to allow full participation in all components of health-related fitness.
